Let’s Sculpt Our Abs at Home with 3 Simple Exercises
Who among us has never dreamed of the long-awaited turtle? The abdominals give the body harmony, giving it the right lines. But they are really very difficult to sculpt.
Let’s start with the assumption that to have sculpted abs, you need to follow a healthy and balanced diet and do physical exercise. Today we will show you three simple exercises to perform that you can easily do at home, which will only take a few minutes. Remember that any training must be conducted consistently if you want to achieve results.
3 useful exercises for the abdominals
Bicycle crunch
To perform this exercise, you will have to lie down on your back with your legs bent at 90 degrees. Your hands should be clasped behind your head.
Rotate your torso and bring your left knee toward your right elbow, then rotate your torso in the opposite direction, bringing your right elbow to your left knee. Repeat this back-and-forth movement. Remember to keep your lower back pressed to the floor. Breathe in as you twist up and exhale as you lower back down.
Jackknife
Start lying flat, raising your legs and shoulders a bit, keeping the abdomen tight, and your hands in front of the chest. Lift your torso and simultaneously bend your legs, bringing your knees as close to your chest as possible. Return to the starting position without your shoulders and feet touching the ground. Repeat.
Scissors
Lie on your back, arms by your sides, palms on the ground. Lift both legs a bit off the ground and keep them straight. Now alternate the movement of your legs, raising first the right and then the left. Repeat this exercise several times.
During the exercise, always try to keep your abs tight. In this exercise, breathing doesn’t need to be synchronized. Just breathe normally and avoid holding your breath. The exercise is not recommended if you have postural problems or if it causes lower back pain.
