Make your own ice cubes that you can use to get rid of skin blemishes

The icetrays that can be found in almost every freezer can be used for much more than just cooling off our drinks in the summer. They can also be used with a few certain ingredients to form ice cubes that can get rid of skin blemishes. This is an effective and cost-effective way to treat your skin, so let’s take a look at how it’s done!

Due to all the elements and outside conditions that our skin can be exposed to, it is imperative that we give it a substantial amount of care. Unfortunately, skin care products that can be bought at most stores tend to be expensive and don’t always give us the results we are looking for. So instead, why not try a different approach to getting your skin to look beautiful and healthy?

Several Solutions for Repairing Skin

When facing common skin problems such as pimples, blackheads, and redness, tomatoes can actually become your next best friend. First, mix half of a tomato with a spoonful of honey in a bowl. Next, add the juice from half a lemon and half a cucumber. Now we need to blend everything together and pour the resulting liquid into our icetray. Place the full icetray into the freezer and let the mixture freeze. Once frozen, take the ice cubes and apply them to the affected area of the skin in circular motions. Repeat the procedure two to three times a week.

You can also use green tea for treating your skin. Green tea can be effective due to its antioxidant properties that help fight free radicals in the body. All you have to do is steep a green tea bag in distilled water, then fill your icetray with the liquid. Once frozen, apply the cubes to the skin as we explained in the previous example.

Discoloration

If you happen to suffer from dark circles that have formed on the skin, then rice and potatoes could be your solution. From the rice, we want to take advantage of its folic acid and mineral salts. Potatoes, instead, provide a soothing and highlighting effect. First, put a handful of rice in a glass of water. Once the rice has absorbed the water, filter out the rice and then add half of a grated potato. Now apply the solution to the affected area and wait about fifteen minutes. Lastly, rinse away and you’re all done.

The last ingredient we will discuss is milk. Due to the vitamins, antioxidants, and mineral salts found in milk, it acts as an ideal exfoliant. This time all we have to do is put milk in the icetray and leave it in the freezer for 24 hours. Again, take the cubes and apply them to the affected area. And that’s it!
