And if it is used too generously, the cube can even hide the true flavors we are looking for in the dishes we prepare. The recipe we will use will end up producing 12 stock cubes, which we will contain in an ice tray. The ingredients will include 500 grams of mixed vegetables, 150 grams of fine table salt, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Our preparation will begin with washing our vegetables and cutting them into cubes. Next, cook them with olive oil for about ten minutes, or until the water has evaporated. Now we need to run the vegetables through the blender then place them in the pan with salt and cook for an additional five minutes.

Once the vegetables are done cooking, fill them into the ice tray and let it sit in the freezer for about 12 hours. Afterward, we will have a much healthier stock cube to cook with. The cubes can easily be stored by wrapping them in parchment paper and placing them in an airtight container.
